Meet Our Pack
Our breeding dogs are the foundation of everything we do. Each one is carefully selected for stable temperament, strong structure, working intelligence, and genetic integrity—not just appearance. They are genetically verified, health tested, and evaluated for sound hips, elbows, eyes, and overall longevity before ever contributing to our program. Just as important, they live as part of our pack and family, not in kennels—raised and kept in a natural, structured pack environment where behavior, confidence, and balance can be observed daily. We make breeding decisions with long-term preservation in mind, protecting diversity and reducing inbreeding while honoring the purpose these dogs were meant to serve. Our breeding dogs are not just producers—they are guardians of the future of the Native American Indian Dog.

Chenoa
Chenoa is the foundation of our pack and the dog that shaped everything we are today. As our founding member and true alpha, he leads with bold confidence and undeniable presence. There is nothing subtle about him. His energy is strong, expressive, and commanding, yet always controlled and stable. He is outstanding with his puppies and teaches them through engagement and example. He moves easily with dogs of all sizes and genuinely loves people. Playful, driven, and highly intelligent, Chenoa brings power and heart into our lives. He is not just part of our program — he is the force behind Turtle Island NAIDs.

Mekko
Mekko is power wrapped in thoughtfulness. He carries himself with quiet awareness and natural athleticism that is impossible to miss. Fast, agile, and incredibly coordinated, he runs and jumps with strength and grace. Outside, he moves like a king, confident and full of drive. Inside the home, he is gentle, observant, and deeply intuitive. He watches, he thinks, and he connects. With the heart of a lion and the sweetness of a companion, Mekko embodies the perfect balance of energy and steadiness. He brings athleticism, intelligence, and warmth into everything he does

Mni Wiconi
Mni Wiconi is the life force of our program and the promise of what is to come. Her name means “Water is Life,” and she embodies both. The water is the blue in her eyes. The life is the strength and spirit she brings into everything she touches. She is gentle, deeply kind, and naturally balanced. Her temperament is steady and trustworthy. Outside, she is fast, agile, and graceful in every movement. She runs with freedom and confidence. Inside the home, she is sweet, affectionate, and thoughtful. She represents everything a NAID should be, which is why she was chosen as a future cornerstone of our breeding program.

N’Shee
N’Shee, whose name honors “Restoration” and her Delaware roots, carries a depth of purpose that reaches beyond lineage. She was chosen as a symbol of healing and renewed strength, and she lives that calling every day. There is a quiet power in her presence, a sense that she bridges past and future within our program. Her maternal instincts are exceptional, guiding her puppies with patience, protection, and steady devotion. She is tender, nurturing, and deeply connected, yet grounded and confident in her role. In the home she is affectionate and watchful; in the pack she is balanced and sure. N’Shee reflects the medicine-bearing spirit these dogs once carried, standing as a reminder that restoration is not just history — it is something we continue to build.

Yaretzi
Yaretzi, meaning “Always Loved,” carries her name in every part of who she is. She came into our program with the intention of strengthening our lines as an important outcross, helping protect long-term health and diversity. Though breeding was not the path meant for her, her purpose was never lost. Yaretzi became the heart of the pack in her own way. She mothers every dog around her as if they are her own and watches over all of us with steady devotion. She is nurturing, protective, and deeply connected to her family. Yaretzi is our dog forever, and she will always be loved.

Bineshi
Bineshi, meaning “Thunderbird,” came to us with striking beauty and powerful presence. She was selected as a potential foundation female, and in many ways she looked the part. However, our program is built on strict, non-negotiable health protocols. Every breeding dog must meet those standards, no matter how magnificent they are. Though Bineshi’s spirit and appearance were exceptional, her body did not meet the level required to continue in our breeding program. It was a difficult decision, but preservation means protecting the future first. We chose to place her where she could live fully and happily without expectation. She found an incredible family and the life she deserved. While she is no longer part of our pack, she remains part of our story and always part of our hearts.
